Its all for Charideeeee!

Those of you that know me will know that I do woodturning as a hobby, and in order to raise funds for Demelza House, my local club is running a woodturning demonstration and sale of goods at the Wyevale Garden Centre in Teynham near Sittingbourne on Sunday and Monday during this Bank Holiday weekend.

A representative of Demelza House will be with us to tell you about the work that they do for the families of terminally sick children and there will also be a tombola with some very nice prizes. All proceeds will be going to Demelza House.

Wyevale Garden Centre, WILDWINDS BARN, LONDON ROAD, TEYNHAM,
SITTINGBOURNE KENT ME9 9JY.

Sunday 10:30 - 16:30 and Bank Holiday Monday 09:00 - 18:00

 The merry month of May.

At last the sun has shone for a while. We recorded a rather tasty temperature of about 25 degrees during the week, then come the weekend, a nice bit of rain to water the garden and dampen the spirits.

But we can't complain I guess, as the water company says the 'Aquifer needs it!'

Easter Time!

Well the long weekend is here again, and surprise surprise, its been raining quite heavily. Can't knock the weather though as we're in bad need of some rain, especially if you've seen the pictures of Bewl water recently.

Have a good easter all, Don't eat too much chocolate!

I've been sent details of a new Judo club for Harrietsham and Lenham, To tempt you to try out this new activity during April, they are offering a free trial on Friday April 14th for new starters. Click on the groups link above for further details(or click here...)
